Westport's Famed, Great Rubber Ducky Race
Every May on Mother's Day, May 9th 2010

The course follows Wages Creek within the Westport Beach KOA site. If conditions permit, it runs from the campground
bridge to the surf's edge.
There will be challenges for every duck, but the best competitors will be small; ride high in the water; and resist overturning. In past years, seasoned entrants have taped a quarter to their duck's bottom to prevent overturning. But don't weight your duck down too much, or you will be caught in the shallows.
- Registration begins: 11:30 am
- Barbecue served: 12:00-2:30
- First race: 12:45 pm
- Quilt Raffle Drawing: 3pm
